1. Propose/use a new methodological approach;
2. Bring together existing methods and/or methodologies in a novel way to investigate a research topic;
3. Propose/use theoretical concepts as method/ology in a way that extends theory/methodology into generative directions;
4. Blur disciplinary boundaries by thoughtfully using a method/ology not commonly used in the particular discipline
